CurraNZ athletes selected to represent Great Britain

    on April 16, 2024

Congratulations to Meryl Cooper and Rosie Woodhams who have been selected to represent Great Britain in their respective disciplines. Meryl had a strong finish at Transgrancanaria sailing across the line 7th female and 1st Brit home in the 47K race.  This is Meryl's 4th GB and NI vest but her first time representing GB at the European off-road Championships. Meryl has been with CurraNZ for two seasons now and has been using CurraNZ with confidence in her training and racing. With 3 championships under her belt she is working hard with her coaching team to put together a performance she will be proud of.
Rosie Woodhams, a student at Loughborough University, has been selected to be part of the UK team where she will line up at the end of June in Bar, Montenegro. Rosie's strong suit in the world of trail running is Sky Running - the format at the Youth World Skyrunning Championships involves a Vertical Kilometer on the Friday and up and down sky race on the Sunday. This quad burning exercise will get some support from our blackcurrant ultra supplement.
    Good luck girls!
